Blue Page with a Yellow Circle

New Additions
On Friday 16th December we got two pigs from a friend. Our son has named them but due to protecting the innocence of the person they're named after, we can't actually tell you what they're called here. I suppose we could have a pig-naming contest but the prize, hmm, what could the prize be? A free trip out to visit us? A t-shirt from here? I know, we'll call the pigs the name the winner selected online. So, like, for instance, Wendy Richard is better known as Pauline Fowler, our pigs will have a Virtual Blog name as well as the name only we call them. What a great prize! Better than the other two prizes.
They actually live in the sheep pen in a sty we built from scratch. Here's a picture. The pig on the left with floppy ears is a female pig and the other one's male. Very clean animals, pigs are. They have designated a special poo corner and only do their doings there. Easier for us to clean out.
Weather
We were asked to send a picture of the weather. Here's one you can do yourself. Get a sky blue sheet of A4; draw a round circle anywhere on the page and colour it yellow. Add a few - I'm thinking three, rather than four - wispy clouds and colour them white with Tippex or Snopake or a white crayon. Pin picture up high on the wall. Truly believe the temperature coming from this sun is about 29C and that's the weather picture for today. More Deaths
Another trip to the abattoir yesterday with two more rams. No interesting story behind their deaths; they were just two sheep caught at random for slaughtering for Christmas dinners.
Well, at the abattoir were the most amount of pigs getting ready for Christmas. One huge sow had a heart attack as she was being weighed and had to be pulled off the scales by her back legs. She just lay there dead, eyes closed, legs sticking out, with an almost grateful look on her face that she ain't nobody's dinner no more. What she didn't realise at the time though, was she's going to the dogs! Nothing wasted round here.
